In February 2026, an advanced online workshop brought together Art Clay Certified Instructors from the Benelux region – the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
Organized in collaboration with Art Clay Benelux distributor Esquell.eu Silverclay and the manufacturer Aida Chemical Industries Co., Ltd., the session offered a focused and high-level learning experience for professional instructors.

The Workshop
Led by Japanese master instructor Ryo Sakuragawa, the workshop focused on the development of tile-pattern pendants using structured surface design.

Techniques & Creative Approach
A key aspect of the workshop was the creation of original texture-sheet designs.
Rather than following predefined patterns, participants were encouraged to develop their own visual language.

- building depth and contrast in silver pieces
