The Masterclass took place at the Creative Glass Studio in Zurich, Switzerland.
The event was organized by Creative Glass MHS AG, the official Art Clay distributor for Switzerland, Austria, and France. In collaboration with Aida Chemical Industries Co., Ltd., Japanese instructor Etsuko Nakayama was invited to teach an intensive two-day course featuring a variety of project pieces.
During the workshops, participants explored Etsuko’s signature techniques, intricate design methods, and delicate filigree work. While online workshops have become increasingly common in recent years, this experience highlighted the unique value of hands-on, in-person learning.
