We’re one of Europe’s largest metal clay suppliers with a vast online store featuring a comprehensive range of jewellery-making and craft supplies – everything from metal clay to kilns, enamel to gold, and gems to tools. We support home users, artists, professional makers, and resellers, and run regular classes and events, including certification courses. We also run a Tutor Support programme for UK based metal clay tutors.

Metal Clay Ltd was founded in 2004 by Petra Cameron, evolving from a bedroom-based start-up to one of Europe’s largest metal clay retailers. Petra made the leap from an events management career in 2003 to becoming one of the UK’s first AIDA Certified Art Clay Senior Instructors and has since been instrumental in spreading the metal clay love in the UK, training instructors, and organising landmark events including the Art Clay World EU Conference at West Dean College in 2008 (Europe’s largest metal clay gathering at the time). Metal Clay Ltd continues sharing the passion for metal clay and curated the international You Can Make It (YCMI) residential metal clay events in 2017, 2018, and 2020, as well as the hybrid You Can Make It : Masterclass event in 2025.
